Second visit to BMP, the Legends as good as before. Main problem was groundstaff hounding you buy recovered balls almost at every hole - including walking in front of you whilst playing shots to get your attention, wanting 7-8 times the purchase price in clubhouse! Haggle and you will get them at the correct price.

Tough. Have to use a buggy or caddie (2 types, bag carrier for £7, Caddie for £10 or buggy for £22 in May 2010). Suggest using a cadddie, walk and tip a tenner. Caddie will save you £££s on lost balls (Clubbing you and finding them). A caddie will also point out stuff you would miss in a buggy (Kingfishers, nests, deer crossing water, crabs etc.).
Good course, however fairways get water logged and then spiked.... Free greenfees for Belle Mare Plege guests.... oh and you get reduced green fees at Le Toussrock Golf Club if staying at the BMP (100 euro as opposed to £165 a round...) Golf receiption will sort for you. Enjoy...

Challenging course ... accuracy is a must, too easy to go off-line and into water/trees. Great value, the best of the two courses. Grass is spongy type ... use 1-2 extra clubs especially when playing up slope.

This is the harder of the 2 courses at Belle Mare Plage. Accuracy is essential as there is plenty of water and tropical greenery to swallow the balls.
Visually stunning, this is one of the prettiest courses I have ever played. You can use buggies, caddies, or carry yourself. I would recommend the caddies as there is a lot of grain on the greens and local knowledge will help.
The greens are brilliant and the fairways good, despite a lot of rain in the weeks before (it is their winter after all!)

Possibly the most stunning course I have ever played. We chose the venue for our honeymoon for these courses; unfortunately I did not get to play the links as well. Rented clubs out there (full set of Taylor made R7s) Golf buggy comes with fully stock cool box which is a must for these conditions.
