Built in 1926, the Peter Gannon designed golf course has gained a reputation for being one of the toughest par 69's in Italy. Winding its way through pine, ash and chestnut trees, the course also benefits from spectacular views across Lake Montorfano. Since its initial construction, it has undergone huge improvements, and has proved popular with European aristocrats, as well as popular names such as Clark Gable and Bing Crosby
