Challenging

Beautiful setting providing very hilly and challenging set of holes. Buggy preferable although must keep to paths so still a good deal of walking on steep slopes giving interesting lies! Greens small and relatively slow. Bunkers shallow and begin. Fairways good but beware rock outcrops. Rough little long with numerous white daisy type flowers making locating ball hard work ?.gobbles up too many balls and you never seem to find any! Several holes with water but no issues. Many greens higher than fairway generally need more club than you think. Staff very pleasant and nice club house and restaurant. Location isolated but offers excellent lodge style accommodations.

Souillac

This course, although not long, requires exact positioning both off the tee and up the fairway. It was in excellent condition with the greens a joy to play

Beautiful undulating course with some challenging greens

A beautiful course in a peaceful woodland setting. A few of the greens are difficult to read and are therefore a great challenge. The course layout is neat with only a few tees being a short distance from the previous green. On the day the course condition was fabulous with well maintained fairways providing that special fluffy lie whilst the greens were superbly manicured. A truly wonderful course and a personal favourite

Very good course, need to have your A game as very tight fairways, uphill and down dales, plenty of water to contend with.

A fantastic golf course in the dordogne that is challenging but at the same time rewards straight hitting and accurate putting

I played this course twice in the summer of 2008.
It is a short and in some places tight course, the driver only comes into play on a few holes.
It is hilly in some areas so for the hot summers I recommend hiring a buggy.
The entire course is surrounded by holiday chalets so try to be as straight off the tee as possible.
An enjoyable picturesque little course that is good fun to play.
The staff are all friendly and the food in the bar is of a decent quality (as is the wine).
If you are in the area and you have your clubs with you, it’s a good way to spend a couple of hours.
