What the club says: Golf club Praha is the closest course to the Centre of Prague being only 10 minutes away. The course is fairly hilly which makes for many well placed shots. Although the course is only 9 holes the appeal is that many people like to play nine, then relax with lunch or refreshments on the wonderful terrace overlooking the course.

The 9-hole course is messy, too tight and very "samey" all the way round.
Even the walk to the driving range is fraught with danger!
I can see what they've tried to do with a very uncompromising bit of land, and the actual condition of the course (tee boxes, fairways and greens) was okay.
What I really didn't like was the behaviour of the staff.
We were playing in a Rotary Charity event, and yet all we experienced were rude/unhelpful staff and an obnoxious match referee (the only "marshall" we saw all day) who decided it was perfectly acceptable to chastise our group for a minor local rule infringement (walking the wrong way with a trolley) while we were putting on the 9th green close to the clubhouse!
Why he couldn't wait until we'd finished the hole, God only knows?
So if you're a snob and think you're somehow better than everyone else, then Motol is the course for you - but if not, then i'd give this bastion of toffiness a very wide berth!!
