What the club says: The challenging golf course (with 18 holes 72 par) is located in Sheshan Mountain with undulating sidehills, thick bushes, efflorescent rocks, secluded denes, deep ponds and a clear insight open country. Meanwhile, Sheshan Mountain is also a famous scenic spots which enjoys the reputation of the garden of Eden.

The golf course possesses some natural and cultural landscapes among which there are two millennium ginkgo trees , the ancient bridges of Jiangnan style and the ruins of the quarry , to name just a few, all of the landscapes boast a distant history.

The Internationally renowed course designer Nelson&Harworth took the advantages of these landscapes, escepially the qurry and the ginkgo trees which are used to design an interesting 3 holes. The 16th and the 17th holes are the first two landmark holes which own the signature of the designer.
