What the club says: Nowra Golf & Recreation Club starting on the site in 1954 it is renowned to Golfers as one of the most memorable Golf Courses to play in NSW. The reasons are evident when you first arrive. The setting is idyllic for Golf.
The Shoalhaven River bounds one side of the Golf Course and the escarpment bounds the other. A real piece of paradise. Some of the tees have even been cut into the escarpment providing unique golf hole and tees high above the fairways with river views. Inspiring...exciting..
