What the club says: A delightful moorland course, with outstanding views across the moors and over Cornwall. The championship standard course is challenging, but fair to all standards.

Moorland challenge
Yelverton is a tricky course when the bracken, ferns and gorse are grown and you can be punished if you don't stay straight. Animals on the course add colour but are kept off the excellent greens by fences. The back nine is significantly more difficult than the front nine.Reviewer Rating

Moorland golf
Great layout, rather damp given weather of late. All off mats so full rate a bit disappointing. Still a pleasure to play with spectacular views and a real challenge with strong winds and each hole playing in differing directions.Very enjoyable challenge. Plus lots of animal spectators.

12 of us played on Wednesday 20 April. Warm and sunny. Course was in tiptop condition. Greens very fast and true. Plenty of practice in bunkers - enough sand to get out first time on all 6.

One of Devon's best links
Beautifully kept course, lovely clubhouse and fantastic food. Very friendly staff and members. The carvery on a Sunday is to die for, book-up well in advance.Reviewer Rating

Great course, hard back 9
A course with wonderful moorland views, played on a sunny day. Greens were quick and several protected by local features.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 93 Handicap: 21.3)

Fantastic course, it's a real golfing challenge. Facilities are decent but don't live up to the standard of the course. Bar area is nice but service and menu both disappoint.

Incredible
This was the first time i played this course in almost 31 years, oh boy, have i missed it.The condition of the course was fantastic, the work the ground staff have done to get it to this level is exceptional. The welcome you receive in the Pro Shop and Clubhouse is truly great.
I cannot recommend this club highly enough, and because of this, i'm joining.
