work is still ongoing on course so you play 6 holes twice but saying that the course is in good condition with good greens

Parts of course are being rebuilt and you play six holes twice but the earthworks do not detract from your enjoyment of the rest of the course which is still well presented. Something for everyone here, some challenging holes but nice wide fairways give everyone a chance. Greens were a little soft but we've had some really heavy rain recently.

Beginning to improve under new management but the course is still a bit of a building site with one or two greens not running true and a couple of tees in poor order. Generally in decent condition though and £30 for a full English, 18 holes and buggy hire on a Saturday morning isn't bad value. They've now cut down a lot of the long rough that used to be there so the course is a lot more forgiving.
