What the club says: Woodcote Park Golf Club was founded in 1912 and the course consists of two parts - eight holes at the "top" of the course and on the same level as the clubhouse, and ten holes which slope down about 150 feet to flat ground before gradually rising again to the original level. The course is situated on top of the Downs and so the wind often plays an important role in determining the success or otherwise of a round.

Big test
Very well maintained course with long par 4s. The bizarre thing is that the par 4s are v long and the par 5s are short … so it feels like there’s no difference between them.Reviewer Rating

But samey
Nice course, in good condition but a bit samey. Almost all the holes we straight, tree lined taking a driver off the tee. I have played it before and couldn't remember having played it. I now know why. Nothing particularly memorable. However as said, course was in good condition and the greens were really nice.Reviewer Rating

Very nice parkland course in great condition
First round here, helped it was a blue sky sunny day, however very much enjoyed the tight parkland course. I was playing solo, however paired up with a friendly member ahead of me on the 3rd hole. Green were fast and in good shape too.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 94 Handicap: 21)

Excellent condition. Tough greens
Charity golf day. Course in excellent condition. Greens particularly tough as fast and hidden contours. Fabulous day. Covid restrictions well applied but therefore facilities limited.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 23.7)

Gun golfer
Great course - interesting layout and greens rolled true but were quite slow BUT if you want to get around the course in under 4 hours 20 minutes as a 2 BALL, go elsewhere. Got stuck behind a 4 ball of seniors who had lost several holes on the group in front but refused to let us through.Reviewer Rating
