What the club says: Woodbridge provides two exciting options with an 18 hole and a 9 hole course. Both are set in spectacular surroundings on classic heathland setting in Suffolk. These quick draining conditions enable all year round golf at your leisure.
Heath Course - A golfing challenge of the highest standard, this 6299 yard course requires accuracy and strategic skill to manoeuvre around.
Forest Course - Not a pitch and putt but a full length 9 hole course (6382 yards over 18 holes). This is a real gem, probably the best 9 hole course around and no handicap certificate required.

Simply one of the best courses I've played. Made very welcome on arrival having run slightly late due to travelling from some distance away. Excellent coffee in the clubhouse prior to teeing off. Once on the course, I couldn't get enough of the place. Has some stunning views across the course, changes in elevation, sensible bunkering and decent greens. I would imagine it's stunning when the heather and rhododendrons are fully out. Was lovely as it was. It's a good couple of hours away from me and ?70 twilight, but well worth both the time and the cost to visit. Can't wait to head back.

I recently visited this top 100 English golf course and it lived up to its reputation. The course is an heathland course which is in great condition all year round. I certainly recommend visiting this course if you have the opportunity.

Fantastic heathland course. Maybe a bit more rugged round the edges compared to Ipswich but in great condition and great fun.

Great Heathland Course
Classic Suffolk heathland course.Obviously there is a premium on keeping the ball in play due to lots of fairway bunkers and heather & gorse as you would expect. That said driver isn't not always the correct play so its a great course to plot your way around.
The course is well kept and green run really well. Given the nature of its location also a great course to play during the winter months as drains well.
Really enjoyable and will be back.

Little gem in Suffolk
Super heathland course, with tees & greens in excellent condition. It was lovely to play off good fairways. The staff were all very welcoming & friendly.The Covid restrictions were well organised.
I enjoyed it so much I'm going back in 2 weeks with other friends.
