What the club says: Waterlooville is a long, tree-lined, parkland golf course with five par 5's and five par 3's, featuring mature trees and lots of water with four ponds and a stream running through it. Designed by Henry Cotton, Waterlooville is a Championship golf course and always in excellent condition with superb greens. The signature hole is the 13th; at 566 yards you have to carry a pond with your drive, a stream with your second with the third shot requiring an accurate approach to a tight and shallow green.

Great local course, lovely condition, difficult greens. Standard private golf clubhouse feel. At times can get a little backed up on the first few holes.

Beautiful Course
Visited for the 1st time today and given the time of year, was very impressed. Its a beautiful, mature, woodland course in exceptional condition. The greens are in amazing shape with very few flat lies!Despite the long challenging holes, shots which go astray into the trees are salvageable since the trees which separate most of the fairways are very open to play out of. Instead of several poor shots out of long rough, the penalty is just one recovery shot if you 'take your medicine'.
I was disappointed when we saw the first (of about 4) tee mats. However they are brand new and incredibly good quality: didn't use a tee off any of them.
The Greenkeepers here do an amazing job. Looking forward to the next round now that I have zn idea of layout

A great course, the best for miles around, greens were excellent. Not so sure why there were so many 2 balls allowed out out on a busy Friday afternoon, but there it is. Only one negative is that they were protecting their tee boxes and teeing off from the inferior parts (very unlevel) was a challenge.

Impressive golf course
Lovely woodland course with mostly widish fairways. Trees plenteous but not generally not difficult to find balls. Green in excellent condition. Altogether very enjoyable.Reviewer Rating

Lovely Parkland Course
Heavy overnight rain threatened a cancellation, but despite being on clay and 422mm of rain the course played exceptionally well if not a little long side with greens and approached as little soft. Interesting course with some elevation changes and water to negotiate but nothing too challenging.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 88 Handicap: 11.8)

Great course in great condition

Great condition in June
Fantastic greens, beautiful condition, good test of long and short game. Score well on the pars 3 and you'll do well. Bunkers and sand great. Just enjoyed playing!(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 89 Handicap: 18.9)
