What the club says: The course is set in gently rolling parkland, winding through mature woodland and follows the natural contours of the land with over 100 bunkers and eight water features providing a challenging but enjoyable test of skill for every calibre of golfer.
What Golfshake says: Great course with which you need to be at your best. Tight driving means keeping the ball in play is a must. Good facilities with being part of a health and lesuire centre.

Played here for the first time. The course was in good condition generally, greens were rolling well. The bunkers need a little better maintenance but other than that an enjoyable round. Lovely clubhouse and good service. Would certainly recommend a round here.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 82 Handicap: 7.2)

good course but not in good condition
the greens were first class but around the fringes very poor on most holes. Course ver ywet for this time off year. A lot of the T boxes were in bad condition and the bunker unraked and hardpath ways for buggies overgrown. This course is short of investment i think its all gone into leisure club and hotel rooms which are first class. Alas we came to play golf

Wet winter round
Surprised the course was open due to persistent rain but was pleasantly surprised. Yes it was wet and boggy in places, but the greens were very good, tees ok and at ?20 it was a bargain. Nice course, some lovely holes.Reviewer Rating

Very disappointing
Played this course two or three times several years ago, an interesting layout, quite challenging but enjoyable. Played again yesterday and found the course condition to be very disappointing, putting green and all greens had been hollow tined recently and were very poor. The rough just off the fairway and under the trees was left too long resulting in delays and several lost balls for our fourball, and grasscuttings everywhere.Lots of building work / refurbishment on the clubhouse facilities etc so I assume there’s not much left for the course!
