What the club says: Tynemouth is a relatively flat par 70 course measuring 6,359 yards. There are some tricky holes on the course, with the toughest arguably being the 547yd par 5 twelfth. The fairway narrows at about 240 yards from the tee, demanding accuracy from the big hitters. Overall Tynemouth provides a good test for players of varying golfing ability.

Lovely course
My home course, been a member for a few years now. Has suffered a little more this year with the weather, but where hasn't? Some boggy areas still and the greens still need to recover before the start of the summer season, but the Greens staff are doing an excellent job in keeping the course open more often than not. Great course
