What the club says: As with all links golf the difficulty is with the wind, guaranteeing the golf course plays differently almost every day. The greens are quick all year round and the course guaranteed to be in great condition 360 days a year. The fairways are tightly cut and the rough penal in places, but fair, along with many strategically placed bunkers that are ready to swallow up golf balls. Trevose ensures you use almost every club in your bag and the experience is memorable, hence the number of top amateurs and professionals that choose to play the course and keep returning.

Headland course
Played here on a bright but breezy day . The wind here will make all the difference to how your round goes ! The first four holes play into the prevailing wind and includes 2 x long par 3?s. , at 182 and 220 yds . The view playing into the 5th green could easily distract your approach - stunning sums it up . The wind helps a bit more on the return - holes 6 to 9 . Essential to find the fairways which were generous but miss them and the rough can cost you shots . Enjoyed playing here and will try to return on the future . Well stocked shop and friendly staff . Did not use the bar / restaurant due to time but the whole complex welcoming and friendly . Good accommodation on site too , so would make a good venue for a golf trip .Reviewer Rating

Another quality cornish course.
Another solid course down near Padstow and another course worth a visit if you can sneak away from the family. A solid open course, where at this time of year the odd wayward drive goes largely unpunished, which would not be the case once the rough grows up. Wide fairways where if you're unlucky you'll end up with a ball above/below your feet, but in the large part a solid and faiur course for the higher handicapers. Despite being on the coast, there's only a couple of coastal views which could help out on a windier day, but big greens and good bunkers make this course very playable. Two slight down points were a) Temp green on the first, which isn't ideal when you're only playing the course once, but the work going on at the first makes that green look very decent. B) Pitchmarks on the greens... No being a "Nomadic" golfer as people like to call us, I make sure that when I attend a course, I treat it with the respect that I would give my home course (if I had one), but the amount of pitchmarks on the greens where shocking.. and I was the first person out on the day, so couldn't even use the groups before me as an excuse. And it shouldn't be up to the greenkeepers to go around and repair players pitchmarks as they've got enough on their plates to make sure the rest of the course is playable. But all in all it was a good place to place and is somewhere I could play week in, week out... however I think the 5.5 hour drive might get a bit tiring after a whileReviewer Rating

Outstanding links.
This is not placed un the UK top 100 without good reason, it was in exelent condition, tricky course with stunning views to boot. The club house, Pro shop and locker rooms are all high quality even the courtyard is a spotless. The course itself is excellent, definitely my favourite Cornish links of the half dozen I have played so far.
On a relatively calm day the course requires thoughtful play with bunkers everywhere and fast multi-tiered greens ready to ruin your score. But on a windy day I should think it would easily frustrate the average golfer.
Finally I have to mention the driving range which unfortunately is not up to the standard of the rest of the venue. There are no distance markers on yhe range and no rubber tees on the mats so you must use your own.. which if they spring forward after a short you must say good bye to or risk entering the line of fire to retrieve them. Also the range is about 400 yards down the raod and downhill from the 1st tee so be sure to leave time to get back and recover if you are warming up!
Fairly pricy at £85 but worth it.

Great course, beautiful location.
This is the most beautiful location to play golf and in such fantastic condition. The European Legends Tour are set to play the course this week and they're in for a treat. It helped that the sun shone and there?s was no more than a gentle sea breeze. The course is well baked and so very firm, well cut fairways and lightning greens, manicured to perfection.
Can't fault this course or it's staff.

Wet and Wild
We got the glorious unpredictable English weather with some rain, wind, clouds and even a hint of sun.It wasn't my first time playing Trevose, but it had been a while.
There's some stunning scenery, greens in great condition and overall a great day - I will say though, I think its a touch overpriced. It's a great course, but didn't leave me with that 'wow' factor that some others have. I
