What the club says: Situated in 170 aces of cotswold countryside, there are no major roads or conurbations close by. With USGA greens meaning play all year round the 18 hole course provides a good challange at 6844 yards. Eleven of the holes involve water to a greater or lesser extent. An ongoing course development programme has recently seen the introduction of several new bunkers and tees. The newly developed 9th and 10th holes came into play during 2004.

Overall I would encourage anyone to give the course a shot and for a early morning green fee of £40 it's well worth it.

Nice course
I played The Wychwood as part of a small golf society. The course was in excellent condition, even after rain had fallen over the previous two days. It's a visually interesting course and certainly challenging enough for the majority of our players. The bunkers were all in good condition (always a sign of a well kept course) and the fairways were good despite the recent rain. The clubhouse is smart, if a little clinical and utilitarian, but we were given a good lunch of ham, eggs and chips (the ham was excellent!). We all had avery enjoyable day and we would definitely play at The Wychwood again.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 121 Handicap: 29.8)

Great Course with lots of water
This course is a hidden gem In The Cotswolds. Friendly club pro always willing to offer help and a good bar with great food. The course has a lot of water featured holes and this makes for a very interesting course.Reviewer Rating

excellent run club
played here on a Brita charity golf day. staff were very friendly and the bacon rolls and tea/coffee never seemed to run out. Really enjoyed the course which was playing very nicely, all the par 3s have water in front and although only 3 par 5 the par 4 need 2 good hits to get to the greens. would recommend(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 90 Handicap: 19.1)
