Lush, parkland golf course
I was playing the day after some heavy rain, there were soft spots on the course but it drains very well. The course is a parkland course with defining trees most holes. the fairways were in good condition, the greens were true and fairly fast. The semi rough was tricky as the ball sat down in damp grass. The lay out has a lot of straight par 4's which played long due to the soft fairways. The 5th is a bit strange as you walk back to the tee from the green. The bunkers were well placed and mean you have to make decisions of where to aim for various shots (risk and reward). The 17th was an unexpected short par 4 with a strong par 4 to finish (water in front of the green).I played early and the green keepers were hard at work, they didn't stop working while I was trying to play shots. It was nice to see them marking all the lines around the course.

Worth a visit
Played on route back to airport after playing Ballyliffin GC 36 holes in one day we found this online . The pro made us feel very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed the round after the test the day before we had shower and full afternoon meal which was very enjoyable. Many thanks ,the groundman deserve full credit after the storm damage the few days before the course was excellent(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 80 Handicap: 10.4)
