What the club says: This picturesque golf course is an enjoyable yet testing layout of 6276 yards. Constructed by the 'Jack Nicklaus' Design Group, the par 70 track incorporates the existing lakes and beautiful countryside of this part of the country to provide a memorable experience for golfers of all abilities. Make sure you get a good one away at the short 15th - the course's signature hole measures 160 yards to a small green that's surrounded by an idyllic lake!

Great course, great clubhouse, lovely staff. James and the pro team are really helpful. Dave and the guys in the shop are great guys. The girls on reception and in the bar are always lovely

An enjoyable course with a variety of holes. Fairways looked good but still soft but greens were very good & ran true. Bunkers nicely sanded.

Great course

First visit here. The first few holes are open parkland but then it goes to more traditional wooded terrain. Lovely course with lots of variations of holes . Good practice green and a drving range. Greens were reasonably quick. Definately one to return to but if this is your first visit, best to play with a member.

A very prestigious venue like Hanbury manor in some respects.
As you cross over the road there are some tough holes but rewarding if you play to your handicap.

Great in the Summer
I do like this course. It definitely plays better in the summer as it can get boggy in the winter. They are working on drainage but still some puddles out there. The fairways look great and some the greens have been worked on recently. It plays very differently off the whites and some tough second shots for a course that isn't what you wouldn't class long.Front and back nines have a different feel and require a different approach at times. The 18th is great over the water (off the whites) and overall the course has plenty of challenges to overcome.
