What the club says: Teign Valley Golf Club is set in Dartmoor National Parkand the course layout sits naturally on the lower, undulating slopes of the Teign Valley. Well known for its good year-round condition, the high specification greens and the excellent drainage help keep it open at all times. There are some exceptional holes along the way including the par 5 8th, which currently holds the world record for a dog-leg hole-in-one at a massive 496 yards!

Beautiful views great course
Nervous revisiting after after a few years as reviews not so good , needn’t of worried , it was in really good condition , they had had irrigation problems in the Summer and they are now all fixed . Some tees a little bare but not a problem , it’s so lovely, a real challengeReviewer Rating

tee boxes barely playable would be a nice course if a bit of money was spent on it

Average course and facilities
Played here with two friends. Greens had all been hollow-tined and were very poor. Although I appreciate this work has to be done - we were unlucky it was when we played. The tees weren't in very good nick, and aside from 3 or 4 holes the layout is not great. Pro shop was half empty and no bar service when we finished just after 5pm.Reviewer Rating

Wonderful views !
Being on the side of the Teign river valley a lot of the holes are very ?up & down? with some fairly long walks between tees so need to be fairly fit or take a buggy !! The greens had obviously just been tyned and were quiet bumpy which made putting difficult. The views from the 7th etc are worth the effort to get - absolutely wonderful.
Certainly a course that needs playing several times to get to know

This was the second time i have played this course, as enjoyable as it was, the course had some very unforgiving rough areas. The grass on the fairways was long and we found many holes that the rough was too difficult to get out of. I lost four golf balls in total just from drifting off the fairway, into the rough. The greens were well kept and played very well i must add.

The second time I've played here. The course is quite challenging but not imposing, and in a lovely setting. The course was in good condition for the time of year. Staff were friendly and booking at short notice over the phone was not a problem.
