Members welcome... Visitors not so.
Visited as a 4 ball paying £240. We felt most unwelcome and members etiquette not good. Members stood right on the tee box as we were teeing off. Poor. I was asked if our group had the right attire and were as well dressed as myself.. Really. Avoid and pay your hard earned money elsewhere.Reviewer Rating

GPS
A disappointing arrival when I was refused use of a slightly out of date Union card (despite an up to date club card): beware of this. The greens are good but much of the course is dull with a border of unlovely hedges.
It's agreeably manageable for older golfers as it is quite short.
But I wouldn't travel most of an hour to play it again.

Lovely rural location
Overall an enjoyable experience. Not being able to book online or by phone beforehand is frustrating - which meant on a Thursday afternoon there was a crowd waiting to tee off at the fist available slot 12:30 p.m.
Plenty of bunkers and challenging obstacles.

Great course
This is a very well maintained golf course that rewards careful golf tee to green. The greens are are fairly small and flat but there is a test in every hole. Good value golf course and friendly pro shop and clubhouseReviewer Rating

Lovely remote course
Whilst a long way from anywhere, the course was excellent. Quite tight in places and don't let the par 69 put you off. Front nine better than back nine in my opinion.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 102 Handicap: 19)
