What the club says: The facility was founded in 1991 and was originally a 9 hole course with the Broadmeadow River as a significant feature. It was extended to 18 holes in 1996 and underwent a further alteration with the addition of 6 new holes in 2003 when the course was redesigned during the development of Roganstown Golf Club.
The course itself would be described as parkland with a par of 71. It has a nice mixture of holes. The Broadmeadow river encroaches on five holes which makes accuracy from the tee a distinct advantage. On the back 9 the two lakes which are heavily populated with wildlife often cause much consternation as they feature on 3 holes which if played well will often result in a good score.
The 16th hole is the feature hole on the course, with its undulating fairway and two-tiered green. It is protected on both sides of the fairway with trees and there is out of bounds on the right hand side to avoid.
