Nice course worth playing
First time playing Styal GC. Nice clubhouse, friendly welcome in pro shop. Driving range on site. No obvious practice putting green. Course in great condition, greens a bit slow but rolled well. Quite quirky in places with large fairway trees to negotiate on a couple of holes. A couple of longish walks from green to tee but well signposted. Very flat course, easy to walk round. Worth playing for sure.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course
The course was neat and tidy and was a fair test. You had to hit a good shot to reach the fairways.
The Fairway distance markers were the wrong colour and there is a need for coarse direction markers as I got lost twice.
No soil boxes on tees
Worth the money.

Confidence booster.
I've played Styal a couple of times - if you wanted a course to ease yourself back into golf, not be challenged too hard etc then Styal is perfect. Not the longest, not the hardest & the greens weren't the best......but overall it's a friendly, great value for money course that I'll continue to visit.Reviewer Rating

In good condition and lightning greens. Only criticism was the walks between greens and tees!Reviewer Rating
