What the club says: The challenging 18 hole Tantara golf course measures 6056 yards in length with a par of 71 and offers a varied landscape with its many ancient oak and sweet chestnut trees, some reputed to be 300 years old and the oldest in Europe. The 9 hole par 3 Avon course measuring 1251 yards is set in the centre of the Tantara course, challenging those players wishing to hone their short iron play. This also suits the less experienced player and is the ideal place for those who wish to learn and those who only have a limited amount of time available.

Course was in good condition considering how wet it has been. Greens were true and receptive and there are some excellent holes, especially on the back nine.Reviewer Rating

Enjoying the autumnal colours
Played Stoneleigh Deer Park, the colour of the trees enhanced by the sunlight made this round a delight. There was little wind and despite not playing for a month the scoring was good. The greens were in good condition and the ground staff were doing their best to collect the fallen leaves. The pace of play was good, just under 4 hours with two four balls in front of us.Good fun and company a very pleasant way to spend a Wednesday

Beautiful course
Great course layout, interesting good run on the fairways the greens were in excellent condition and challengingThe 6th hole was stunning with the river Avon running through it

I have played this course many times over the years. I feel the course since the late Mr Reay passed away has gone down hill. Several bunkers have been taken out and the fairways seen to go tfrom fairway to deep rough with no second cut.. The rough is that deep if you miss the fairway you struggle to find your ball.With regards the greens . It seem that there are no areas onvthe greens that are level to put the pin.

Interesting trees - a bit of water
A pleasant course, not too demanding (for those who know a bit of what they're doing) - not spectacular. A couple of holes skirt around or over a river, a few have slopes to manage. Quite wide and open - but with woods around the edges.Reviewer Rating

Course in good condition for this time of the year. It was a little wet and the tees were out of action but a very good replacement too was provided next to the original tee to play from. Lovely course as always with lots of challenging holes.
