What the club says: Shrivenham Park Golf Club is a mature parkland course set in 110 acres. There has been a golf course on the present site since 1966, with the full 18 holes being completed in 1969. In May of that year the course was officially opened by former Open champion, Max Faulkner and Ryder Cup star, Brian Barnes

Very good course but conditions where not brilliant, greens good on some holes, fairways good, tee Noe’s very bad not much thought gone into positions of boxes

Worth a round or two....
Played here today, what a beautiful course, 3 holes were off limits as the deludge of the past 3 months had flooded the bottoms 3 holes...of 5,6,7 as a result you play holes 14 twice plus 1 and 18 if you'd like to play a full 18.Very friendly greeting, and lovely bacon sandwiches before and after along with a recommended black pudding sausage roll!
Would love to play here in the summer, well worth a visit, not a long course but you need to play some good shots to keep the ball on the slopes of the greens, drives need to be straight and accurate in areas as there's plenty of trees and more to punish errant or wayward shots.

Arrived a few weeks ago after travelling for over an hour to get there to be told that the course was only open on the back nine. This was not advertised anywhere or not was I told when I booked 5 days before. Woman behind the toll didn’t seem to care and still wanted to charge us full price!! Safe to say I won’t be back, save your money and play somewhere else. It’s no wonder golf clubs struggle when this is the service they offer.

Good course, great cost, including a bacon bap. Lots of different types of holes and you need to place your shots to get a result. It is a little tired and does need a little bit of attention, bunkers, tee boxes and some paths a bit bumpy. Greens had been watered and this was a great help in the heat, you could play into them without your ball bounding on. Members friendly and pace of play was fine.

Course looking a bit untidy in places. First cut of rough was quite long and the greens needed a cut and so were quite slow. Some of the bunkers need attention very little sand in them and lots of weeds. Pace off play was excellent and we were behind a 4 ball who did not hold us up once. The members were quite friendly but the only guy in the clubhouse is a bit miserable. The only food offering was bacon or sausage bap, no gluten free option available. There has been no food offering for quite a few years now and it lets the club down. The course is interesting though and we will always play it but not as frequently as we used to
