What the club says: Rye is a private Club and has very limited opportunity to welcome visitors without a Member’s introduction. All play is in two ball format with foursomes preferred in the morning. No three or fourball golf is played.

Wonderful classic links
I've been lucky enough to play some of the top links courses in the country and Rye is up there with the very best. It's a classic test, full of interesting holes, in wonderful condition. The clubhouse has that old musty smell of a slightly decrepid boarding school, and it is generally a bit of a fusty old place inside, but outside the course is wonderful. Alongside the likes of North Berwick, St Enodoc and Dornoch in my personal ranking - ahead of places like Saunton, Royal Cinque Ports and Prestwick.Reviewer Rating

Great but tough links course
one of the best, amazing condition, great views, great practice facilities and really tough, not many pat 68 courses measure 6300 yards and since it's a links with serious wind it plays a lot longer than that. Definitely worth making a visit down to Rye(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 74 Handicap: 4.2)
