What the club says: Nestled at the foot of the Historic Hill of Tara in the Royal County of Meath is among Ireland's most enjoyable and conveniently located Golfing retreats. With 27 holes in mature parkland the main features of Royal Tara are the avenue of trees that each golfer must negotiate to come in with a decent score.
he main course consists of the Cluide (Blue) (named after the Cluide wood through which the course runs) and the Tara (Red) nines. The Bellinter (Yellow) nine is the back nine of the old course.

Beautifully turned out Parklen course
Swords Manner Golf Society had a great day at this great course.The course was extremely well presented and credit goes to the groundsman and his team.
We had a full Irish breakfast on arrival four are 30 players which was well received by everybody .

A little difficult for a high handicapper like me. If only I could get my ball go go slightly more straight then this would be a great course to play. Well worth visiting if you are in this area.

Excellent Mature golf course, old tree lined fairways with challenging holes ,but also very fair for the higher handicap ,would recommend royal Tara as a good value and a competitive challenge for most golfers

A fantastic course which has some fantastic features with a wee stream and loads of trees strategically placed throughout the course (I encountered them first hand). I had the pleasure of playing with the captain who is a gentleman. I will play again! Seán
