Good course

Very enjoyable, even in a storm. Aside from the greens which were flooded, course held up well, and had some very well designed holes. Looking forward to playing it not in lashing rain!

Cheap

Cheap to play for a round would not pay more. Bunkers are worst I have seen and the greens are patchy

Little Gem worth a visit

Very friendly welcome even during the booking process... course was a nice course to play some good challenges. The greens are a bit worse for bird attack in places and a little wet. However they were still good to play. Loved it and will return to play again.

Decent value with discount

Booked through TeeoffTimes so got a good discount and paid £18 for the round. Course surprisingly wet in places with the ball picking up lots of mud. Plenty of interesting holes in a peaceful area. Friendly welcome in the pro shop. Would benefit from a few more yardage and direction signs around the course.

Good course.

There is too much slow play on a daily basis, ready golf should be introduced at all levels.

Some of the fairways in very poor condition, greens are Ok but very flat. Good course for a practice to build confidence, as short, flat and fairly easy. The 3 times I have been there either to practice or play, the Pro shops has been closed.

Played Feb 5th 2016. Course in fair condition for the time of year . Greens ran pretty well with all 18 in play and no temporary/frost holes . A little disease scarring but didn't affect the putts too much .
Paid £18 , a pound a hole . Remarkable value really . Tees ok but no definition of fairways to semi rough so we pick and placed through the course as we had the occasional plugged lie and muddy ball.
Tight fairways and smallish landing areas so although the card reads short at around 6000 yds accuracy is important and leaving the driver in the bag pays off on many holes .
The bunkers let the place down , they are poor to grim. I think most could be removed without detriment to the way it plays. I say this as an ex greenkeeper of some 35 yrs experience.
Nice pint in he clubhouse after and very good pulled pork bap and chips.
Will come back in the summer .

Really enjoyed this course. The fairways and greens are very well maintained. Bunkers not so much but OK. Water in play running alongside fairways on a number of holes. Long holes, short holes, straight holes, dog legs, lots of variety with each hole presenting an interesting course management issue. Very friendly people in the pro shop too.

Excellent and testing back nine, but the front nine is a bit on top of itself, so if you miss one fairway you will probably be on the next one over. Beware of flying balls!

After having to cancel two previous trips we finally managed to get there on good Friday 2014 and were not disappointed.\As a fourball we had booked 2 rounds using greenfree vouchers which cost us £22.50 each - with buggies at £25 for the whole day the total cost to us was £140 (£35 each) ...Tremendous value.\The course was a little different to many others due to the fact that you need to think about your tee shots not just reach for the driver and thrash it. I found that there was more onus on the approach shot so putting the ball in play was essential as there are plenty of trees bunkers and water waiting to punish an errant drive.\The course was in excellent condition for the time of year with lush fairways and although the greens were hard we soon realised that taking a club less would keep us on the putting surface.\Helpful staff and friendly members as well as a delicious sausage and onion baguette helped to make for a very enjoyable day.\Although 100 miles round trip for me I hope to return to Richmond Park soon and better my scores of 85 and 90 (yes I played well which always helps make the day enjoyable)\David Chipperfield HCP 14
