What the club says: With Richmond Park as a backdrop, the par 70, 6091 yard course designed by Tom Dunn in 1891 provides a serene yet challenging course for golfers of all levels. Maintained to the highest levels the course features a comprehensive irrigation system, drawing water from the Club's own well. Features include water, gorse and ditches, very much in keeping with the original vision of the course architect.

A local gem

Expensive but worth it - a wonderfully tranquil course with wildlife meandering as you plot your way round a challenge requiring accuracy and length off the tee. Fescue is a defence as are some big bunkers particularly on some of the Par 3?s. Go with your ?A? game to fully enjoy and relish the fantastic 18th in front of the clubhouse - an 18th century Georgian mansion! As a visitor made to feel welcome even though we had a twilight tee time so clubhouse not open with our 20.20 finish. A pity but didn't detract hugely from a great on course experience.

LOVELY COURSE IN GREAT SETTING

A beautifully located course in very good condition - a flat easy walk, great changing facilities, good food and amenable staff.

Nice course with fast well conditioned Greens -wonderful setting overlooking Richmond Park with a distinctive Clubhouse .
Well received in the Pro shop but overall feeling of stuffiness portrayed by the members towards visitors - not made to feel welcome .

Very pretty course despite the weather. Cannot wait to play this again throughout the spring and summer. Not a long course but challenging enough for both low and high handicappers.

Frosty conditions which meant on temp greens for most of the round. The Richmond is always in good condition and a pleasure to play. The only down side is it is not cheap to play but you do get what you pay for and the off course facilities are superb. There is a load of maintenance going on at the moment which will be great when the summer comes. The clubhouse is amazing and serves great food. The pro shop is very well equipped with knowledgeable and very friendly staff.

For £90 a round I expected better. A nicely laid out course, but tight. Some holes you are teeing off over the previous green. But condition of fairways is average and condition of greens are poor. Very sandy, very bumpy. Not good value for money.
