What the club says: The Golf Course, opened in 1995, was designed by Architect David Williams and built to a high standard with modern USGA specification greens as an 18 hole, par 72 course layout. Just three minutes from Jct. 8 of the M25 we are very easy to find.

Just turning

Every course is going in to Winter and is on the turn as they say, and Reigate is just going that way. Long wet rough and a million leaves, it makes for a frustrating round if not accurate. That said the green were in exceptional condition for this time of year and must be commended.

A great test

Superb course , tough walk , sloping greens, even the M25 noise doesn't detract from the experience

Avoid at all costs. Booked to play as a 4 ball visitors over Xmas and was charged full price for a course that was virtually unplayable. Cant be good for the members to see the course open in the pouring rain and all the GUR areas just getting worse. Visiting the bar afterwards was the only highlight. To show how much they care, I wrote a very constructive and polite email to the club a few days after - didn't even bother to acknowledge or reply which just about sums it up

Really nicely laid out course with some interesting and challenging holes. Really tough greens in great condition but the fairways and especially tee boxes needed some TLC. Would be lovely if in better condition

Very good course. The greens are very true and testing. Loved the way its layed out through the hills. Some spectacular views and every hole tests your club selection.

A warm welcome after 3 years away

Seems that up to now the club had proiced themselves from people coming to the club at the weekend. The price cut after 14:00 is yet to filter though as the course was very quiet, except for the geese around the 15th greeen. Need somehow to get the geese to avoid that green. A lot of Geese droppings, almost unplayable. Rest of the course in good condition. The fairways needs a cut but the green were quick and in quite interesting positions

Great course

Such a great challenging golf course, lovely fast greens, nice cut fairways, tee boxes a little untidy but only to be expected with traffic. We played on a Saturday morning and never had anyone behind us or in front so cruised round in under 4 hours. Not the cheapest course at ?40 but you get what you pay for. Loved the wedding hole over the water and some of the par 3s.
All in all a brilliant course and will definitely be playing again in the next few weeks.

Reigate Hill - The clue is in the course name

Entered in the Reigate Hill Seniors Invitational and never having played the course was looking forward to my visit. Reigate Hill doesn't disappoint, there are some really tough holes that require good placement of shots, but also holes that offer you a chance to attack. Course was in fairly good condition, tee-boxes needed a little work, fairways were cut well, the rough was quite thick in places and the greens were quick, very quick, with some really subtle breaks. There are some steep inclines to be walked, but the clue is in the name. It was quite tiring, but that said. I enjoyed the round. Food was good after the round, with a good selection on offer. Worth a visit if your in the area.

We played this course because the website said it wasn't hilly but unfortunately it was hilly and the fairways were not in very good condition - it felt like we were playing on a football pitch.
On the plus side the greens were immaculate and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Up and Down

The course Lay out has been carefully thought out , the pro shop being situated bye the 1st tee and as you walk off the 9th green so you have to pass by it to the 10th tee is a master stroke . The 1st hole is a inviting tee shot that lure you into playing with ego, thinking you can drive straight on to the green ! once you have learnt this lesson the course has very cleaver traps that come into play , yes at times you can have a hole where its about distance but most important is the approach play into the greens . the 2nd hole will take you up the hill and before you know it a tee box looking over a steep drop, this happens again on the back 9 ! And its worth the wait . the greens play great and can be tricky . but a great challenge overall .
