What the club says: The part parkland and part woodland course of Redditch Golf Club is universally acclaimed for both its topography and the quality of its playing surfaces. The greens are particularly outstanding, all 18 having been re-laid during 1995 and 1996 under the direction of the Sports Turf Research Institute.

Worth a Visit

great parkland course, greens true and quick. We visited following some heavy rain to the fairway were soft and the air heavy.
Great pro shop and club house friendly staff.

Excellent

Excellent condition for this time of year, really interesting course. First 14 holes are quite open with some nice features, some really nice holes and greens were fantastic (fast and true). 14-17 are bit tighter, tree lined and a good test, go in the trees and the ball can normally be found. The last par 5 is brilliant, opens up again off a raised tee. A great feature is a description of the hole by every tee and how too play the hole. Met some pleasant members on the way round who called us through, certainly a good test of golf but really enjoyed it though score wasn't brilliant. Would play again :-)

Excellent course and club

From first arriving to be met by a friendly pro and then playing an excellent course had a lovely day. The greens are so fast and difficulty to read

Great day, a very varied course and enjoyable. Pleasant staff and good food.
Only problem we had was the buggy couldn't manage 27 holes, had to change midway on third nine holes.

Conditions after a very wet winter were sodden under foot, should not really have been open as the course was so wet. Which is unusual for Redditch GC as they are normally exceptionally conscious of closing the course in poor conditions.

Very good parkland course

Good setup, warm up range next to first tee (paid balls) along with short course. very warm welcome to the new renovated bar area for the pairs open.
First visit with a few blind shots makes it hard to pick a line so a little course knowledge goes a long way. so excellent holes but lots of BLAND also. greens in fantastic condition with plenty of slopes to catch you out. absolute nightmare to find with sat nav be warned :-)

A course worth visiting

Played on 15/10/20. The course was in very good condition, the greens were excellent, very true and fast. It was the first time I had played here, but will definitely come back.
