What the club says: This is a typical meadowland golf course measuring just over 6,100 yards. Book a tee time at Phoenix Golf Club and enjoy a pleasant walking track with tight fairways and receptive greens.

Overall course in good condition. Second cut from the fairway was a little long but this was due to the previous long periods of rain.Reviewer Rating

Interesting layout, challenging fairways
My first time playing here and really enjoyed it. Hole 1 looks a bit plain and maybe doesn't give you a good idea of whats coming as the course is much than it looks down the first. Hole 2 is a winding par 5 which really catches the eye. The mixture of small greens, cambered fairways and strategically placed trees make this course a really good challenge for anyone. Small but very efficient pro shop and very pleasant young man serving. We will be back as now I have played all the blind shots I would certainly play some holes completely differently.Reviewer Rating

Open Texas Scramble
A very unusual golf venue, part of a sports complex including squash, a gym and football pitches, in the centre of a housing estate and surrounded by industry! The course was really interesting and in great condition! We paid £17pp to play in an Open Texas Scramble - ridiculously good value! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend playing there.
We ate in the vibrant social club afterwards and the food was excellent, as good as any I’ve ever had in any golf clubhouse! Without doubt worthy of the 5 stars that I’ve given it

Excellent course in the middle of heavy industry
When I played this course on July 2nd it was in excellent condition. Lush, green fairways and well kept, good paced greens. Julie, in the pro shop, was very welcoming both in dealing with my original booking and in giving a nice friendly welcome for the first tee. Well worth playing this course which is very unusual in that it is in the midst of a heavy industrial site.Reviewer Rating

Give it a couple of weeks and it should be playing a lot better.
