A course in two parts either side of the M6. The course is over 6000 yards and plays every yard as there are many dog legs and a river running through the course. There are eleven dog legs each demanding a pin point drive from the tee. Added to this the fairways are boarded by some short rough which is very difficult to get out of. For a high handicapper like myself the combination of length, dog legs and short rough made for an ultimately difficult round although the conditions were perfect. All the greens ran fairly consistently though some had moss on them. The motorway had little impact on our round and was hardly audible. The tees could do with a little work as at present they are simply markers on the ground rather than pleasant raised tees. On the tees there are simple yardage markers rather any helpful information on the hole. A course guide is an absolute must.

Played 1/06/14 on a lovely sunny day. Course was in great condition with greens even paced and running true. Bad shots are punished here with some deep rough. If you have not played here before, buy a course guide as it was worth every penny.

This is an interesting course with a stream that appears on a few holes, it is also different in that it is based either side a motorway.
Very friendly club with a great club house.

Course was playing well - greens were quite slow but true, not very busy and great staff! Very helpful!

Only downside was there was a wedding on so the bar wasn't open to golfers

I've played Peover several times since its opening. The course is maturing well but the quality of the greens remains poor with varying degrees of moss intrusion making consistency very difficult. Played off yellows and there were no hole markers on the tees. That said a very enjoyable day and at £26.00 for a Saturday morning game is good value.

First time i have played Peover Golf Course, and it certainly was a challenge.
Its an excellent course although a little confusing as not well signed to tell you were the next tee is. I would recommend Peover golf course to anyone looking for a new challenge.
Also excellent value as they accept 2 for 1 vouchers.

don't be surprised to use irons of the tee's to get your ball in the right place.
Plenty of doglegs and water.
This course lies close to the M6 near knutsford, Cheshire and is without doubt a hidden gem; clubhouse is spacious and made wholly of timber which fits in perfectly with the surrounds of a woodland/parkland course.

Lots of perfectly placed hazards like ditches, streams, ponds and bunkers including what I can only call large dips and hollows within the fairways ranging in depth difference to the fairway of anything from 20ft to 50ft making club selection paramount, but to help you they even have the best stroke savers I have ever seen as they also show you the “Land Profile” so you can decide whether to lay up or go with the Driver. A good challenge for all abilities.

A good challenge, some long Par 5's that require a strategic approach. The river or brook running running through the course means that you have to make "lay up or go for it" decisions on a few holes. Have played this course quite frequently and more often than not, it is kept in good condition. Overall a good 18!
