What the club says: Bordered by the industrialised West Midlands and rural Staffordshire, at Penn Golf Club visitors will discover a challenging heathland golf course set in beautiful, picturesque surroundings. Over recent years we have added many trees, and a few well placed bunkers. From our hand mown and very slick greens, to our lush fairways, we believe that our course is comparable to the most prestigious of clubs.

Quality course
First time playing here and really enjoyed it , the greens were in excellent condition even with all the rain we have had they were fast and true .Fairways weren't to bad , a little muddy here and there but nothing major .
A good testing course that I will definitely play again

Average
Great welcome but went downhill from there, pro shop well stocked, course very average and greens slower then I was anticipating. A few nice holes but in all honesty nothing to make me rush back. It wasn't that it was bad just boring, Nice pint in the bar afterwards.Reviewer Rating

Interesting course.
have played this several times now and to be fair its quite good. My only concern is that as soon as there is any heavy rain it kinda lushes the bottom part of the course. My playing partner needed a buggy as was recovering from a broken foot and we were told to avoid several holes as muddy. Overall though in the summer I would imagine this would be a nice course as it is laid out fairly well ( just be careful crossing the main road ) lol. Give it a try and I am sure you will be glad you did. Another one to add to your list.Reviewer Rating
