A must visit in the summer
First time visit April 2023 and loved the layout, good solid test and tree lined fairways. Interesting enough layout. practice area between 8th and 9th holesvery friendly club and enjoyed the pairs comp, fairways holding up OK a little damp for time of year but fully playable.
100% worth a visit especially the April pairs @ £25 with brekkie / coffee included.

Nice Course
The course is well kept and very consistent throughout the 18 holes. There isn't really any truly memorable holes, but then on the flip side there are no bad holes either. It's just a consistently good course that is nice to play, but I wouldn't rush back to play again from Birmingham simply because there's nothing special enough to warrant that hour and a half drive again. No particular gripes about the course, just nothing special. Back nine is definitely better than the front nine though and across all holes, the ball rarely lands on a flat bit of land so you are constantly tested with uneven lies. This can be frustrating, but at the same time makes you really want to practice those shots!(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 100 Handicap: 20.5)

Nice tree lined course - a few tricky holes
Enjoyed the round. Very friendly pro, fantastic sausage sandwich to kick things off.Only a small practice net tucked round the back. Nice opening hole in front of club house to focus your mind...tree lined 400 yards +. Some tight tee shots. Some nice looking holes like the par 5 third dog legging left. Some quite ordinary holes on front nine like 5 and 6 but once you cross in front of the clubhouse for the 8th then the excitement builds and it is a great stretch from 8-14 with some cracking tee shots -best part of the course. Beware the short par 4's that are around 300 yards -your tee shot is so important to be in play so leave the driver in the bag on 7 and 11.
Only negative is the layout in places means you are on top of players on some tees and greens so you need to be careful and mindful of other players. Some are a bit dangerous like having to walk back down the fairway at 14 to get to the 15th tee (which is a bit of a dangerous tee from the 14th tee) that's my only gripe.
We had a spectacular deal : £20 winter warmer with sausage/bacon roll and coffee and a round. From April the county card comes in at around £30 TBC by the pro.
A nice track with a few really nice holes!

You?ll Struggle To Find Better
Where do I start?.... From the moment you pull into the car park until you sit having a drink after tour round this is a venue that has it all. Great new clubhouse, great practice facilities, friendly welcome, lovely food, well stocked pro shop and a course that you will want to return to.Not the longest of courses but it still has dangers all round. Great mix of holes that offer birdies but also bogies....tree lined, well bunkered and with the best greens I've putted in for a long time. Can't wait to visit again.....
