What the club says: Norwood Park is one of Nottinghamshire premier golfing destinations. Both the 18 hole Norwood course (measuring 6805 yards off the back tees) and the 9 hole West Wood PAR3 course (opened April '09) have been designed by Clyde B Johnston, past president of the American Society of golf course architects. He has succeeded in creating two magnificent layouts which blend perfectly with the historic parkland setting of Norwood Park. The courses will appeal to golfers of all standards and the club house, with its enclosed courtyard, will cater for your food and drink needs.

Xmas special
Played NORWOOD TODAY 15/12/23 in the Xmas jumper event. First impressions after pleasant drive into complex was what have I come to —- but after I’d walked into the courtyard and then the bar I felt a…. This is a nice club. The pro shop and all staff very friendly after the game good food good beer and friendly members who talked fondly of their club. The course itself really shouldn’t have been played, after many days of rain underfoot was very muddy and slippery, in fact the back nine had been closed to members for a couple of weeks. However the day was good, met up with old and new friends enjoyed the golf and there are some lovely holes which I have vowed to come back in the summer and experience Norwood at its best , will certainly recommend my golf society , the Burton Professionals to come this season

Very pretty course and in really good condition. Well worth a visit.
Norwood Park golf course is a really pleasant day out - great practice facilities, club house and pro shop; really friendly people; pretty course which has challenging holes but also nice wide fairways. Greens in really good condition. All in all, excellent golf course.Reviewer Rating

Wash out
Played on Friday 31 Mar 23, course was flooded. Nothing on the website before, no comment made in the Pro shop. Played 6 holes then came off. Pro staff agreed the course should be closed but ‘…owners have a policy of no closure….’ A disgrace, The paths were like rivers, our trolleys were ripping up the fairways. I’ve given them a 3 because the greens had great drainage and were very good. I won’t be back.Reviewer Rating

Best greens, lush fairways, lovely all round
My first visit to this course and I can't wait to get back there to be honest. Booked on GolfNow and arrived ten minutes before, picked up a buggy and off we went. First few holes very open and good for scoring on and then you get to the 4th, which is a very different challenge. Speaking to members on the tee its a nothing fancy straight shot off the tee and then second over a lake to the left then onto the green in three. Great hole which I played really badly hence the need to return. Hole 6 is another mental challenge which i failed, but now i know i need to try it again. We passed what looked like a lovely halfway house going to the 10th and the back nine challenge was even more fun. What I will say is that the greens were amongst the best I have played this year and we are in October! and thats having played some ?100-200 courses in 2022, so we are talking mint greens here. The members took time to talk to us and ask us what we thought of the course and we spent time talking to two lovely ladies in front of us on the back nine who were being held up/not let through by some very slow members. However we did not let that disturb our enjoyment of a lovely round in superb conditions on a course I will rave about for days. Its not a 100 year old course, but its so nicely kept and laid out you cannot say anything bad about it. With three blobs I went round in 87 which is 3 over my handicap so chances are I can score better next time. Roll on our return.Reviewer Rating
