What the club says: The course at Meldrum House was designed by Graham Webster with the highest attention to detail. And our greenkeepers pride themselves in their meticulous standards. USGA-constructed, manicured greens. Cross-cut fairways. Water features. Dog-legs. Bunkers. All expertly maintained to the highest level, demanding perfection from every stroke for even the most accomplished golfer. Look out for the 18 bunkers guarding the green at the par 5 eleventh hole. But remember, we also have a sensible choice of tee positions if you’d like to take things a little more leisurely.

A good challenge

Pretty forgiving off the tee, but some holes need accuracy for position. Greens are massive, and depending on pin placement and judging distance well, you could have some huge putts.

Fantastic experience, every hole has something different, well placed bunkers and water hazards, greens are as good as they get, unbelievable undulations. You need to be on top of your game to score well. Both fairways and greens were in top class order. 9.5/10

This course is a good to play. the greens were very fast the day I played. To many 3 putts were required which did not do my score any good.

Unfortunately you can only play this course if invited by a member or stay a night at the hotel. However if you do get the chance to play it you'll find a stiff test on a well laid out track. The rough in summer can be brutal especially if you go into the trees which I find a little unfair and the work the club have completed on draining water from the course made a huge difference to the overall condition of fairways

all talk, i played course coming over from spain and it is set out really nice with a lot of wildlife, i played in may 11 and grass in rough was patchy and grass was spaced i.e mud patches, fairways were ok, not much grass in places thou. the course i would say in 7/10 condition nice to play but then came the greens, possible the best slopes ive played really good design but the greens condition is the worst i have ever played and tee boxes too, greens were bumpy and full of divit like things and pitch marks, ball bobbled all over place. and also paul lawrie was banned here i heard as he called the green shite so dont listen to the marketing people running it saying its good play elsewhere, way better courses than this around.
