Nice Kent course
Great practice facilities and a great set-up. A 9 hole with different tee positions for the 18. Course was in great condition due to the heat at the moment. Fairways are quite forgiving which is great.Reviewer Rating

Course alrightish, thought £30 for a 9 hole course was excessive. Gone up the best part of ten pound in the last year. Green receive a ball really nice. But are slower than my granny going shopping......... and she’s only got one leg.

pretty course
play here once a year and as usual did not dissapoint. Always in good condition. Has gone up £10 per round, not sure many will pay that after coronavirus disappears. Great to see the club taking social distancing, no rakes, no flag touching etc etc seriously. Defeats the purpose when you are handed a receipt to hang on your bag !Reviewer Rating

Greens in green and in good condition seeming there's been v little rain in the last month or two. Generally a fair challenge - not particularly long. Limited opportunities to get the driver out if you can drive further than 250 yards+

This is a great little course although the greens were not the best due to being spiked.

Amazing course. Would have gone round again. First time I have played this course. I run a society so maybe in contact as have been with Pentland for three years.

Lovely location and surroundings. Really like this course, super greens, and actual sand in bunkers.

This review is purely for how good the course is usually and not how it was today, today I found the fairways patchy and the greens very wooly. Obviously due to recent weather.
Anyway my general review of the course is: Although only a nine hole course this is thoroughly enjoyable to play. 18 tees give you some change on the second nine so you won't get bored. The greens are usually very true and incredibly receptive. The fairways very nice to play on also. The one whole downside to the course is the bunkers which seem to be almost like builders sand and with quite a lot of stones in. My favorite thing about the course is how peaceful it is even when busy, which as a 9 hole course it can get especially in the summer after work hours. Facilities are very good. Decent range, and putting greens and a little 18 hole chipping course which is a nice way to either warm or warn down.
The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food post round is lovely. Hopefully the summer deal of gold and a burger meal or golf and a steak meal will continue. I look forward to playing here again in a few weeks time.

Lovely course but unfortunately had a lot of rain night before which made it a bit muddy in places but the greens where good. Good facilities and service. Will be back to play in the summer.

Considering the rain we had over the previous few weeks the course was in fair condition. The drainage has worked well. Greens were brilliant. The 9 hole course is a good challenge with some well thought out holes. Would love to play again when the weather is better.
