Lovely holiday golf
A great day out for some holiday golf. Booked in on the county card (£40) and were greeted by the very helpful and cheery Pro.The course is just perfect for an afternoon on your hols. Some interesting holes with changes of elevation, greens true and quick but not too quick. A couple of the par 4’s are massive for a mere mortal, but it’s possible to score well on others. We were held up a bit on the back 9 , but a 4 Hr round on a busy course was fine.
All in all a lovely day out

Nice parkland course.
Middle of the road parkland course. It is kept in outstanding condition for the dry weather we have had this summer, probably the lushest course I have played this year.It is fairly forgiving with the exception of a few tight drives requiring more caution. Not too hilly and not too tough for an average player. Ghere are few bunkers here but beware of the water!

Great layout
Very good, challenging course, but does get very wet and waterlogged during the winter.Definitely worth a visit just prior or after the winter season!

Fantastic course
One of the best courses I've ever played. The course was in excellent condition and all the holes were different giving many challenges with water, trees and bunkers in interesting places. The hotel was also excellent with the food, drink and staff all good. Well worth a visitReviewer Rating

No prior warning of aerated greens
On check-in to play and prior on booking, there was no mention that the greens had been aerated leaving putting on short/medium range putts a lottery. Ironically the greens looked in decent grass condition and very 'green' although a bit slow. I like this course layout but the greens made it a frustrating round.Reviewer Rating

Excellent few days golf
A great but very wet few days golf, but at least most things were open and always .Even with the covid restrictions the staff were welcoming and helpful. The course was in great shape and offered a variety of challenges, we will definately return.Reviewer Rating

Lovely Course & Decent Place to Stay
Lovely golf course in excellent condition. Challenging enough but very playable for my handicap (17). Stayed 2 nights. Staff were excellent. Food ok. Bar and restaurant lacked a bit of character. Pool, sauna etc would make this an even better choice for a golf stay & play.Reviewer Rating
