What the club says: This course is one of Leicestershire's premier parkland golf courses. Set in beauitful surroundings in the South West corner of Leicestershire. A challenging 18 hole par 71 course with easy walking and buggy hire. Kirby Muxloe Golf Club was founded in 1893 and ranks as one of the most sought after golfing venues in Leicestershire. It is best described as a fair 18 hole parkland course featuring a stream meandering through the course and a lake in play on the closing holes.

Nice course in great condition
Nice course in great condition given the amount of rain we had. Greens were fast and in good condition. Course playing long due to soft conditions. Very enjoyable and will play again soon hopefully.Reviewer Rating

I had never played course before, but it was well-kept and the staff were friendly. I really enjoyed the challenge and variety of the holes, especially the final two holes. It also made me think about course management.

Great course
A well kept course with some challenging holes along with some fairly straight forward ones. Plenty of space for me as a newer, slower player.Lots of hills and hollows, some challenging water features along with ancient farming land strips.

First visit here , great course with tricky greens and slopes. Excellent layout with many different holes and problems to solve.

Great parkland course, Fantastic greens
1st time played here, everything about it was A1. Some of the best greens I've played on, ever!Very friendly greeting, members all spoke to us, clubhouse and locker rooms some of the best I've seen. Course was in great condition, final 2 holes over water were a great way to finish ???? quite a flat course but some challenging holes. Booked again to come in a couple of weeks

Parkland course in great condition
Played as part of a small society awayday. Check-in was courteous but with little interest shown in us being there. No 'Welcome to Kirby' or 'Have you played here before?' or 'Enjoy your round'.We paid a reasonable ?30 each for coffee, bacon roll cob and 18 holes, but even so we expected better than a dish of Nescafe granules, a flask of hot water and cold, underdone bacon.
The course was in excellent condition with some of the best greens I've putted on all year. A good mixture of holes with some long par 4s and challenging par 3s. The par 5 17th and the short par 3 18th are two great finishing holes over water.
The members we encountered seemed rather grumpy.
All in all a good experience on a very nice golf course at a fair price price with just a few things to take the edge off the day.

Brillant challenging course
Brillant weather to play a excellent course..could do with the best half way house being open as yhe sos rolls last year were the best.. ciurse.. tip top.. clubbhouse tip top... will be back...(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 107 Handicap: 21.1)
