Good course

Great little hidden gem! Not the longest but still quite tricky, have to think about a lot of tee shots, 2nd hole is a tough 1st drive, staff and clubhouse very welcoming and friendly!

I used to be a member at kilbirnie place 15 years ago. Moved from the area. Still a good little course, we'll maintained. Some tricky par 3,s. Over the back of the course nicest from 10 through 15.

Well worth a visit. Greens very good. Holes go in various directions - so the wind plays a part. On paper the course may look short but there is some clever bunkering which means you will not risk a driver on half the holes. Tough holes 2, 3, 4 (not long but stay straight) 8 (tough par 3), 12 (scary tee shot), 16 (careful as out of bounds on left). 18 is a good finishing hole. £12 for a round is immense value. I recommend playing especially if you are a medium to high handicapper.

Lovely course with a good mixture of par 3's, 4's and 5's. Course was in good condition and local member were very friendly. Hole number 12 was a big suprise and a shot in the dark almost!
