Great 4 Day Open in July
This is a parkland course, so tree lined fairways & greens in beautiful condition (best avoid early season if its been extremely wet i.e April). 2024 has been exceptionally wet. I guarantee from md April/May they will be fast & reasonably firm. July/August is the best, they really do prepare well for the 4 day open, 1st week in July. The par 3's are absolute beasts, even the 2nd if you miss left! 10 to 12 ft drop off. Most scenic is the 12th, hitting from an elevated tee, onto a tree lined fairway doglegging slightly right. Must be 60/70ft down to the fairway. Not for the faint hearted.Reviewer Rating
