What the club says: Situated near to the east coast on gently undulating plain of Holderness, the course enjoys the benefit of refreshing sea breezes.
This very scenic and easy walking course has tree lined fairways, numerous testing bunkers, outstanding water features and some of the best greens to be found in the country.

Hornsea in february
Golf course very heavy under foot due to weather , after saying that fairways had no definition not mowed due to weather, greens ok but recently spiked so ball didn't run very well. Some greens though where very good. Paid ?24 which was a little high for the current course conditions . I would like to play here again in season when the course is at its best.Reviewer Rating

fantastic course to play, good for all levels of golfer. if you stay straight you will score well (I didn't).nonetheless a real challenge, the greens, tees and course in perfect condition. friendliness of members second to none, a member we met two days previous noticed us half way though his round and made a point of walking over to speak and asked how we were getting on and enjoying the course. in the clubhouse the lady golfer working the bar could not be friendly enough talking for ages about where we had been and pointing out other good courses to play, and the food fantastic. make sure this is a course you play if in the area.

Cracking course

Lovely heathland course idyllic

Great course, lovely people !
We played on a sunny Sunday in August 2019 and loved the course. We started with a full English breakfast for all 16 of us which was really nice and the catering staff and pro shop lady really looked after us and made sure we enjoyed our final day of our East Coast weekend. Some great holes on a very playable course and I would certainly say add it to your golf itinerary if you are visiting the East Coast.Reviewer Rating

Excellent course
Just a super course. Mix of long and short par 4s. Interesting par 3s and couple of par 5s that really make you think, Course in good condition despite a massive downpour the day before. I'll be back!(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 13.4)

Good friendly golf club
Played a very busy Hornsea today a touch late teeing off but once off we were never held up.Course is a very interesting round of golf with some brilliant holes.Greens good fairways good tee box good what more do you want.Didnt have time to try clubhouse time to go home.Still there’s always next year(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 12.5)
