What the club says: The course was rearranged and established in 1991 as a compact links type course, with many natural hazards, such as quarries, water hazards and grass bunkers which provide a very challenging test for low handicap players, and yet giving the average player 18 holes of interesting and sporting golf.
A hallmark of the course is the very diversity of the holes with no two alike thus creating an above average challenge to golfers of all abilities with many thought-provoking shots required to keep the mind focused.

Great quirky course well worth the green fee
Fab course real links feel about it. Biggest hazards to avoid being the hundreds of sheep that freely walk the course but adds to the flavour.Reviewer Rating

Great interesting course
First time played and will definitely be back. Nice layout and interesting holes you need to pick your way around. For winter I would say course was in great condition. Greens a little longer than summer as you would expect but running true. It was mildly breezy elsewhere but up there it was blowing a gale at times which makes it a good challenge even if it isn't that long. Some winter mats in use and also some normal tees. Look forward to another go in the summer. Very friendly in the clubhouse too.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course
Great little courseQuite a challenge as regards being a links type of course
Not particularly long.
Greens very good - but some ongoing work on a couple - sanding etc
Fairways good - sheep graze on a few, but in a nice way. It's a true golf course so don't let the sheep comment put you off

Society golf
2nd time playing this course and again really enjoyed it.A links type course up on top of a hill.Played in decent weather both times I have been here but I?d bet it's brutal on a wet & windy day.I will look forward to our next visit to this great course.

Having never played this course before I wasn't sure what to expect but what a pleasant surprise.The layout is fantastic with some really great holes that will challenge golfers of all abilities (I play off 28) and managed to get round in 101.It's links type set up is fantastic although we did have a really calm day so I can imagine it could be brutal on a windy day.
Well worth a trip out though and the added bonus was that the breakfast that we had was bang on as well.

Although my game didn'g show it, it is a great course and in excellent condition, verh friendly atmosphere on the course and in club house(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 104 Handicap: 27.6)

Very warm welcome
All staff welcomed us and Matt took time to show the start of the course. Friendly members.Enjoyed our food in the club house. Interesting course with suprising challenges.
