What the club says: In 2009, Golf Monthly put Holtye in their U.K. top twelve 9 hole courses. Recently, in a survey, professionals rated it "a little gem". Set in the rolling Sussex Weald, the Club's nine hole course offers very different front and back nines from alternative tees. Facilities include a huge practice range, pitching and bunker area with greens, a putting green, pro shop and a comfortable clubhouse with sky television and a full catering.

Great location
First outing out since I bagged the Vilamoura trophy and I enjoyed it. Very hot and quite hilly in places, the course was in good condition though. I got a great birdie on the 4th ' The Hammerwood' and wont forget that. The course was founded in 1893 and is still going strong.Reviewer Rating

Small and Criss-Crossy But Pretty
Good fun and scenic in the way it is cut into the trees. The long grass can be tricky, but the Par 3s are nice and friendly. Fairways in good nick and greens generally good (with a couple of GUR patches). Very lightly used from what we could see on the tees.Reviewer Rating

Great course
Great course with some challenging holes. 4th hole par 3 is a lovely hole. A lot of rain over the past few days by the greens and fairways were in great condition. Also the club shop is very well stocked.

Has s
It has some magic; is a really nice walk, hitting up and down hill through avenues of trees. Really nice silver birches at the top of six. Great bluebells in spring by the side of the 1st. Tricky course, that is not just about power.Reviewer Rating

Tricky little challenge
Having been a member here previously, i know this course well, but it always throws in a challenge or two it starts easy enough but after the second provides some interesting and thought provoking holes, especially the signature 4th/13th par 3, which will test even the best golfer.(Round played: Nov 2017 - Score: 80 Handicap: 13.5)

Gem of a course , fantastic value
Fantastic course, greens quick and true ,lovely layout with some cracking holes , 4 / 13 one of the best par 3s we have played , tough driving holes on 3 and 7 which certainly test your aim , not as easy as the scorecard gives the impression of . Really helpful staff in the pro shop and a fantastic little club house , where we all had a nice meal afterwards , there was a really nice atmosphere in the club house also with plenty of members in there , I see that it is only £395 for first year of membership which seems a very good deal .Reviewer Rating
