What the club says: Hill Barn Golf Club was designed by the legendary Fred Hawtree, and has a long and enviable history having been established since 1935. The course nestles in the rolling hills of the Southdowns, providing sweeping views of the town of Worthing and of the English Channel to the south. The 6,229 yard course provides challenges and surprises for players of all levels as it undulates through a good balance of par 3s and par 4s of which no two are alike.

Great Day
Our society played here yesterday 6th December. We were welcomed by very friendly staff.\There were 21 of us and we started with a full English Breakfast and coffee which was delicious.\We T\'eed of at 09.40. The weather was great for December light wind blue sky. Considering the amount of rain we had had recently the course condition was excellent. The fairways and greens had been cut.\ThankYou for a great day.Reviewer Rating

Nice course with some interesting holes - quite physically demanding with some steep climbs, but it all adds to the challenge

Great course good greenkeepers friendly staff getting very busy very slow pace on course which is disappointing. Could be my last year with cost of membership and cost of daily rate going up.

Great course greenkeepers do a fantastic job well worth a visit cost of a round is quiet expensive also membership for retired my mates and I is hard , but most cost have increased these days.????

Lovely course
Great course in Sussex downs well maintained by greenkeepers unfortunately in my retirement cannot afford new price increases coming up so won’t be able to play so often which is a shame very friendly staff.Reviewer Rating
