What the club says: Highgate is a wonderful, friendly members’ club opened in 1904. Our 18-holes stretch to 6,000 yards and we are the nearest 18-hole course to central London. Despite being over 100 years old, the existence of the course still raises eyebrows – even amongst those who have lived in the capital for many years and in that respect, Highgate really is London’s best kept golfing secret.
A hilly, tree-lined parkland course, Highgate has just one par 5 and four extremely demanding par 4s, meaning neither the par or SSS of 69 are a pushover. The amateur course record stands at only 3 under par, while the professional record stood at a similar score until 2003, when Matt Deal of Hendon, aided by a hole in one at the 17th, reduced it to 63.

Played here as the guest of a member. Great club with a really nice clubhouse, very friendly staff and a great course in great condition.

Very enjoyable
Great location close to central London. Short course, but a great layout. Can be testing and requires good course management. The lack of yardage is made up by the course only having one par 5, so the player is tested on some long par 4's. Highly recommended. The only negative is that the practice facilities are limited.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 84 Handicap: 17.7)

Hidden Gem
Very nice course - hilly and some tricky holes. A fes blind shots but well worth a visit.Made very welcome by members and staff

a unique course closest to central london
I found the course to be quiet forgiving if off the fairways and although quiet short off the yellow tees very hilly in places therefore tiring if 36 holes are completed as we did on our 1st visit there.In great condition.Reviewer Rating

Tricky course not far from the centre of London. Short but with a variety of long par fours with fairways zipping up and down. It's testing. Also good value.
