What the club says: Hayling Golf Club was established in 1883 and is a true links course. It was then redesigned JH Taylor in 1905 and again major reconstruction was performed by the renowned golf architect Tom Simpson in 1933. The club has also seen some superb developments in recent years with a fantastic new art-deco styled clubhouse. The views from which will make up for any missed put. Hayling Golf Club all the amenities you would expect from the 63rd best course in England including practice nets, putting green and all the facilities a golfer or society would need.

Stunning Place to play
Great welcome, great pro shop, phenomenal club house and a true links course which is a stern test.fairways In Great condition as were the greens. Actually easy to find the balls in the gorse and Heather.
Never played greens as fast as these.
Truest and purest test of golf imo. I will be back many times in the coming years

I thoroughly enjoyed this quirky links course. It was a great change of pace from my usual parkland courses. The greens were fantastic, and I loved the variety of holes and the difficulty level.

You could not see where the greens started and the fairway ended, superb condition, nearly as good as Royal St Georges which i walked a few weeks ago at the Open.

Excellent links course
Really enjoyed my round at Hayling. We had played Purbeck the day before which was in horrendous condition, by contrast Hayling was in excellent nick.Tee boxes, fairways were great and greens very true. The course design was very interesting with some great holes with appropriate risk/reward. Some good views of the harbour too and would happily play it again - suspect it would be more enjoyable knowing the layout and how I would play each hole differently.
Other members we met were very friendly and the staff in the clubhouse were also excellent and helpful.
