What the club says: This easy walking mature parkland course was constructed in 1992 and is the ideal location to perfect that swing, setting a good but firm challenge to any standard of golfer. Landscaped within 67 acres of beautiful countryside, with its fantastic fairways and greens, we have made the course exciting and enjoyable for all.

9 holer Close to the A1
Very conveniently located course just off the A1 near Darlington. The course is attached to a Best Western hotel with a pub and leisure centre on site too.Hall Garth is a very enjoyable woodland course. It has some challenging holes and is set out very well to make the most of the extensive space it has.
The 2nd / 9th is a particularly tricky hole with a right dog leg, trees, a wall and water to contend with before tackling a tight green.
Although 9 holes a number play very differently second time around due to the positioning of the tee boxes. So it keeps you interested all the way around.
The course was very well kept although the greens were pretty hard and unreceptive when we played.
We began the day with Breakfast which you can book at the hotel in advance if you wish.
Overall a very pleasant and convenient place with a lovely course.

Straight off the tee
Nice test 9 hole course that you play twice from different tees. Greens nice and fast but patchy in places. Value for money decent ?15 though ??????Reviewer Rating

Fantastic value 9 hole course
We regularly play this course, It is great value and on £10 per man. Even with the dry weather we have had the course was still in very good condition. Greens played true but one seemed a lot slower than the others. Overall I love playing this course, it offers a true challenge without having to rely on distance to achieve this. The par 5 2nd11th is a great hole.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: )

A little Gem
Join the club for ?90 [at the moment] and pay ?10 per game for golf - this also gives you access to SPA facilities and must be one of the best deals around at the moment. The course is a 'little gem' nestled away in parkland countryside with some tricky holes to watch out for if you want to play under your Par. Its like being on your own private course.
