What the club says: Ganstead was opened in 1976 and over the intervening years it has developed into one of the most challenging and appealing courses in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The majority of fairways are defined by grassy mounds, mature trees and sculptured lakes and bunkers. The generously sized and sloping greens present the golfer with numerous questions to answer during their round of golf. In the words of John Fieldhouse, golf and sports reported: "Ganstead Park is an excellent and popular parkland course which must be one of the most improved venues in the East Riding of Yorkshire."

Course in good condition, with well cut fairways and greens.Not the most of challenging of courses , most holes being straight (driver just about every hole), poor bunking of holes.

Played here in Late October, found the greens in very God condition, but fairways poorly cut and rough, could not tell the difference! The bunkers were awful, rock hard, not racked and poorly maintained. Good pro shop and excellent bar.

Long and straight

Good course
Been a while since I have played this course, but I won't leave it so long till I play it again.Well looked after course and the greens were too class. Will be back soon(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 108 Handicap: 25.2)
