What the club says: The course was opened in 1932 and is a definite must for keen golfers and for those willing to travel from inland courses. Designed by James Steer, Fleetwood Golf Course is a typical links course playing the back 9 inside the front 9 and situated next to the sea. Fleetwood offers a challenge with prevailing winds being a major factor on how the course plays from day to day.

Windy Day
Played on a Windy day after some very wet weatherEnjoyed the challenge but the rough is brutal
no fun losing your ball, or taking an age to find it
We all want a good pace of play but rough like this just kills a round
Club house very welcoming and warm, and the sausage butty was excellent

Always great to play
Played Fleetwood GC many times now, always enjoy coming back. Friendly welcome as always. Course in usual reasonable nick, hard fairways, unforgiving rough, need to be straight off the tees. Greens rolling well if a little slow. Testing track along the sea front, a joy to play.Reviewer Rating

Great first visit in November for the winter comp
Been on the radar for a while, played the pro shop Friday event (book through shop £15 a man) very helpful pro's and Dan on the day absolute star tbh. made very welcome and after a 3hrs trek and a few EV charges well worth the effort. course was superb only downside being November FAIRWAYS not is use with pick up and drop to SIDE / ROUGH. greens in good condition and a good solid test, not the driest links iv'e played but will be back for another crack soon. a welcome beer after the match, YES the clubhouse look's rough the bar is in good order it the building isn't.great day out

Good course but not at it's best
Not played Fleetwood for a few years so decided to enter one of their open events. Usual friendly welcome in clubhouse and pro shop. Course not at it's best at the moment, some fairways very patchy and had a few bad lies. Greens okay but again patchy on some. Has not put me off returning but course does need some tlc to get it back to it's former glory.Reviewer Rating

It's relatively flat, would be amazing with more sand dunes, but plays like a proper links course. Downwind the ball runs forever, but into the wind par 4's play like par 5's.
The greens & bunkers are superb, especially for January.
They have a Twilight rate of ?15 after 12:40pm, what a bargain! I teed off at 1:12pm & was comfortably round before dusk.
Add to this a brilliant guy in the pro shop & really friendly locals & you have a great golfing experience.

SUPERB
Myself and five other golfers played Fleetwood Golf Club on Tuesday 21/9. What a fantastic golf course. Great layout and superb greens. Every golf hole is different and the par 3\'s are stunning. The two golf pros in the shop were both friendly and helpful. This was the same for the bar staff also. A great day out golfing. Exceptional value with our county card also. Thankyou.Reviewer Rating

Great links course
You can see the history of this course straight away ( it used to be a rifle range in WW1 ). You have to think your way round here as the wind direction changes all the time and dry hard fairways add extra distance to your shots, where there are runs off areas around the greens, or sneaky hidden bunkers . Greens were excellent . A really good true test of how your game stands up to links conditions.Reviewer Rating
