What the club says: An 18 Hole Woodland and Parkland course located 20 minutes north of Bournemouth on the A31. It is a flat course with plenty of features and wildlife. Great facilities including large shop, floodlit driving range and bar/restaurant.

This has always been an 18 hole course where there is probably only space for 12 or 14 decent holes and front 9 in particular is very tightly packed and had been re-configured again since my last visit.
Greens were exceptionally slow and course is in generally poor condition with a lot of G.U.R., though the incessant rain of the last 6 months won't have helped there.
A good course for a little hack around and to get some practice in after 6 months away but I couldn't really recommend it beyond that.
Bar is pleasant enough and served very good food.

Minus: pack too many tee times in so play is very slow. Lots of four balls with only 7-8 mins between tees.
Just feels a bit greedy.

Much improved from previous years
Great 'inn' style clubhouse with the best breakfast around. Good weather on Saturday mornings means long queues for the first tee. First time I've played since the revised layout, which has lost one of the best and longest holes, but does seem to have addressed slow play, previously encountered through conductive short holes (previously holes 2 to 4). Mostly an enjoyable round, despite yobos peppering be the first fairway from the driving range.Reviewer Rating

Challenging Short Course
This course has a lot going for in terms of value and condition. A full 18 holes with a mix of par 3s 4s and the odd 5 it has woods, water and ditches to present a reasonable challenge to most golfers whilst still maintaining its friendliness to those that are new to the game. The fairways and greens are very well maintained and the bard and food facilities are likewise very good. Well worth a visit but pick your moments as it can get quite busyReviewer Rating

All in all a beautiful place to play golf just be careful on the first fairway as it runs along side the the driving range and lot of balls do make it over the high fence.

Good challenging course in good condition
Good challenging course in good condition.Location of the greens not always apparent.
Game slightly spoilt by quite a few young players in buggies who were a bit short on etiquette.

Short Course, testing but confidence building
The course although short in yardage, it testing enough to challenge a mid handicapper like me, but at the same time has plenty of Birdie/Par opportunities to help build confidence. I usually play as a 2 -ball and comfortably complete a round in just over 3 hours. Staff are great, course is inexpensive would highly recommend.Reviewer Rating
